WHAT TO EXPECT DURING THE HOME REMODELING PROCESS
At RJ Turner Remodeling, we’re committed to giving you the best service possible in your home renovation. We have a thorough home remodeling process to ensure client satisfaction as we plan and execute your vision.

THE INITIAL VISIT AND CONTRACTOR SELECTION
As we begin your home remodeling process, one of our contractors will first meet with you and learn about your project goals and budget. The information from this meeting will help us create materials throughout the pre-construction process.
To better understand the scope of your house renovation, the contractor will work with you to conceptualize the final appearance of the building, basic floor plans, materials needed, and size.
Next, our team will obtain measurements and pictures to start the design process of your house renovation. We want to make sure we capture your ideal home vision during the home remodeling process.
Once we’ve nailed down the design, RJ Turner will discuss the home remodeling process and introduce you to our incredible team. At this stage, clients receive a ballpark estimate and sign a pre-construction agreement contract.

AFTER THE AGREEMENT IS SIGNED
Once the agreement is signed, clients will collaborate with our designer and architect to visualize their house renovation. All of your materials will be selected for your project based on aesthetics and budget.
After meeting with the architect, the Trade Partner will visit the site and obtain the costs and estimated time to complete the scope of work. During this stage of the home remodeling process, we’ll cut costs wherever possible and reach an agreement to move forward with the budget upon client approval.
When the budget is set, RJ Turner will create a preliminary schedule and review the proposed timeline with the client. We want to ensure your project is completed in a timely manner. Once we reach this stage, we’ll submit a final proposal and obtain client signatures on the final contract—it’s almost time to get started!
AFTER THE AGREEMENT AND CONTRACT ARE SIGNED
It’s crucial to start house renovations with legal permits. If your renovation plan includes additions or new builds, permits will be a part of the pre-construction agreement phase. Don’t worry; RJ Turner is happy to assist you with these little details during the home remodeling process.
Once you’ve chosen RJ Turner Remodeling to complete a beautiful house renovation, we’ll apply half of the pre-construction agreement costs to the overall construction cost.

Requested an estimate for a multi room renovation for a new home we purchased. Completed the walkthrough with Chad Davis and was told he would add the numbers up and be back in touch. He reached out later that day however I missed his … More call. Upon returning he stated the items we discussed would run about 200k. I let him know I had not received any quote and was told in order to get a formal quote including a breakdown I would need to pay a percentage down and enter into a pre construction agreement. I explained I had multiple other contractors getting me estimates and not charging and was told it costs money to prepare a quote. Why would anyone ever enter into an agreement without seeing what is even included in the 200k and what would prevent a company from just claiming I hadn't discussed an item and the pricing would be higher. Would not send me anything in writing unless I signed an agreement and payed "about $1500-$2000". I would never enter into an agreement without at a minimum a list of items included in the ballpark number. Don't waste your time.
Update: I was contacted with further explanation of the pre construction contract and also RJ Turner has now started sending written ballpark estimates prior to requesting you to sign a pre construction agreement. They have been kind and have reached out on multiple occasions to try and resolve the issues. -
