Initial Visit & Contractor Selection

1. Client Meeting
The contractor will have the first initial meeting with the client and learn about their project goals and budget. The information from this meeting will help us create materials throughout the pre-construction process.

2. Understanding the Scope of Work
To better understand the scope of your house renovation, the client and contractor will work to conceptualize the final appearance of the building, basic floor plans, materials needed, and size.

3. Take Measurements and Pictures
Our team will obtain measurements and pictures to start the design process of your house renovation. If you’re looking for design inspiration, check out our free resource.

4. Discuss Our Process
RJ Turner will discuss the process and introduce you to our incredible team.

5. Pre-Construction Agreement
In this stage, clients receive a ballpark estimate and sign a pre-construction agreement contract.

After the Agreement is Signed

1. Collaboration
Clients will collaborate with our designer and architect to visualize their house renovation.

2. Material Selection
The materials will be selected for your project based on your aesthetic and budget.

3. Trade Partner Onsite Visit
The Trade Partner will visit the site and obtain the costs and estimated time to complete the scope of work.

4. Review Scope of Work, Budget, and Timeline
During this stage of the planning process, we’ll cut costs wherever possible and reach an agreement to move forward with the budget upon client approval.

5. Preliminary Scheduling
RJ Turner will create a preliminary schedule and review the proposed timeline with the client.

6. The Final Proposal and Contract
Once we reach this stage, we’ll submit a final proposal and obtain client signatures on the final contract.

After the Agreement and Contract Are Signed

1. Obtain Permits
It’s crucial to start house renovations with legal permits. If your renovation plan includes additions or new builds, permits will be a part of the pre-construction agreement phase.

2. Choose RJ Turner to Complete Construction
Once you’ve chosen us to complete a beautiful house renovation, we’ll apply half of the pre-construction agreement costs to the overall construction cost.

3. Construction Phase Begins
Congratulations! Once we’ve reached this final step, we can finally break ground on your exterior remodeling, bathroom renovation, or kitchen remodel. Your magnificent dream home is in the works!
