3 Reasons to Replace Your Old (or Broken) Shower Doors

3 Reasons to Replace Your Old (or Broken) Shower Doors

Why should I replace my shower door?

Sometimes the smallest changes have a huge impact on our spaces. Here are a few reasons updating something as simple as your shower door will pay off in the long run.

Comfort

A cracked, broken, or dated shower can make an otherwise modern and refreshing bathroom feel more like a camp shower than a home-spa. Treat yourself to a bathroom in which you can enjoy relaxing and unwinding by replacing a rickety old sliding shower door with a frameless glass shower door.

Convenience

No one likes getting out of the shower and A: nearly slipping and busting your tail or B: cleaning up puddles of water from the bathroom floor. No one really likes getting a cold draft the entire time they’re in the shower either. A new shower door is cleaner, easier to use, and more effective at keeping water inside and drafts outside of your shower.

Selling your home

Sure, you could let that crusty old shower situation linger and simply try to pass it off to the next owner, but it’ll be much easier to sell your home with a clean, stylish bathroom. Even if the rest of your bathroom is up to par, a dated or broken shower door can leave the whole thing looking like it needs an upgrade. Plus, you’re sure to get a good return on your investment anytime you decide to spruce up your house’s bathrooms.

Partner with a team that can do it all

Glass work is tricky, and more often than not, you’ll be expected to bring in a separate glass specialist to finish your shower door after you hire someone to remodel your bathroom. So there you have this gorgeous bathroom and luxurious new shower, but no shower door! When you partner with RJ Turner Remodeling, there’s no need to hire a separate glass specialist to finish off your bathrooms.

I want to make sure that my shower looks nice. It makes sense that some new shower doors would be beneficial! That seems like a great way to make things look newer.

My sister noticed that the shower door in her apartment is not opening as efficient as it used to. It was explained here that it may be time to have the door replaced when she’s already slipping inside. Furthermore, it’s recommended to hire professionals when in need of quality shower door services.

I have some old shower doors that just don’t look that good. It makes sense that I would want to have some new ones put in! I can see how that would make me feel a lot more comfortable in my own home.

Excellent point about how cracked showers can seem more like a camp shower than a home one. My shower is super grimey and hard to clean. I’ll have to consider getting a glass shower replacement for a better decor.

My shower door is dull and boring. I like how you mention a cracked or broken shower door can make a bathroom feel more like a camp shower than a home-spa. Thank you for the information. I’ll contact a professional to install a new shower door in my bathroom.
